The apartment is an updated older style, presented to what seemed like a 4.5-star standard, with good modern appliances, a generous balcony and nice views. The linen and pillows were lovely, and it’s near local beaches and reasonably close to food and shopping. But the apartment hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived and had a noticeable smell. We told the owner and went out for dinner while cleaners came to prepare it. The main bedroom got hot without a ceiling fan, even with cold rain outside. There was visible dust on the curtains, and some fell on me during the night.

The staff were all friendly and very accommodating, and the six-pack left in the fridge was a nice surprise. We booked a spacious, very clean, well equipped ground-floor three-bedroom apartment for our family of five. The pool and games room were a bonus, and the location near a patrolled beach was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Alexandria Apartments and will definitely come again.

I had a fantastic time here with my parents. The manager on site was a friendly, helpful guy and nice to chat with. Our rooms were clean on arrival, and the surroundings were tidy too. Great for the whole family.

There’s plenty to do for a family, including putt putt, the pool and, of course, the beach. Our apartment suited the four of us and was clean and tidy when we arrived. They offered a midweek clean, too. It’s a five-minute walk down the hill to the beach and surf club. The kitchen has room to prepare meals if you’re on a budget, or you can get a good feed at the surf club. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back if we’re on the east coast in summer again.

Our unit was spotless and looked as if we were its first guests. It had everything a family needs for a comfortable stay, and the ocean views were fantastic. The onsite staff were happy to help with anything. Faultless stay, and we’re looking forward to coming back.
