The riverfront setting was gorgeous, especially at sunset, and the whole place felt lovely. Most sites are grassy, with power and water. The bathrooms are spacious and very clean, and the showers and laundry are together in one building. There are two dump stations and a small kitchen by the water, too. The waterfront trees, green lawn and pelican made it especially beautiful. We arrived late, but all our information was waiting for us. When we needed to change our date, they replied quickly and were very accommodating. They’d also left a useful brochure with restaurant details and local attractions. Thanks for a lovely one-night stay. We’d definitely come back. Thanks, Aimee & Mike Canada.

We found room here in early January even though every other park around The Port Macquarie region was booked out. The sites are large and grassy, unlike the cramped spots at other campgrounds, where I guess they’re trying to fit in more people. It’s right on the Camden Haven River, and the place is relaxed and clean. Diamond Head Beach is 5kms away, Laurieton is 1km, and Pilot Beach, where there are no waves, is about 5kms away. These photos were taken sitting under our awning.

There’s lots of space at this peaceful, green and grassy park by the river. The one drawback for us was getting to the amenities. We had to walk through the permanent homes to reach them.

A nice shady, grassy unpowered spot by the river was 40$, and there’s a boat ramp of your own. It’s a good backup when Laurieton/ Bonny Hills is booked out. Before you get to the campsite and its river-view spots, you pass a slightly odd little "village" of permanent "huts" and covered caravans. That might be the only downside. The amenities are a bit dated but clean, and you can use the washing machines without coins or tokens 👍
