The old country hotel has a lovely feel, and it’s clean and nicely presented. It’s right on Angaston’s main street, with extra parking out back. We’ve eaten here several times and had a good meal each time. The set three-course deal, with soup, a changing main and dessert, is especially good value. The staff are always polite and helpful.

Really enjoyed my schnitzel with chips and vegetables. Everything tasted fresh, and the veg were a nice change from the usual, I got cabbage, corn on the cob and broccoli. A lovely country pub with good food choices.

We stopped in for lunch today when it was very quiet. My wife chose the steak sandwich and I had the honey chicken tenders. The food and service were both fine, just not anything special. Still, it’s worth checking out the pub. 3.5 stars.

The room was reasonably priced, and the renovation is beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised by the place. We also had a three-course meal for under $30, with excellent food and a friendly, charming atmosphere. One of the best places to stay in the Barossa.

That double beef and cheese burger was really good. The ingredients seemed high quality, and the staff at the Brauhaus clearly care about looking after people. They made my Monday evening a nice one, thanks!
