The location is great, but the place needs some care. The gardens were overgrown with weeds and looked dead. Inside, the room was fairly clean, though very dated, with bare, stained carpet, walls needing paint, and old, marked furniture.

For an older motel, it’s quite nice. The bed was good and the staff helpful. You can walk to the town centre and pubs, and there’s a great bakery about 100 metres away.

The staff were lovely and very helpful, and the bed was comfortable. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The room itself was very dated and dusty, and smelled like sewage. The lounge was covered in watermarks, as if something had spilled on it or someone had peed there. The gardens looked neglected too.

Parking is inadequate, and the rooms stink so badly, like other reviewers have said. I can barely breathe.

We spent three nights here and lived to tell the tale. The rooms were impeccably clean, with enough space to move around, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were exceedingly polite. The whole place looks exceptionally pleasing, and housekeeping clearly pays close attention to detail. I highly recommend this outstanding motel.
