I drive long hours as a transporter, and when I pull in, all I want is a good rest. Robyne made check-in feel effortless and was so friendly. The room smelled amazing, was super clean, and felt like a home away from home. The bed was really comfortable, and the bathtub and huge shower head were great for sore muscles. It was quiet, a short walk to a pub or club for a lovely meal, and central to everything. This hidden gem is my go-to whenever I’m away. Five stars from me. elite equine transport. X

We arrived on a cold, rainy afternoon and were glad to find Armidale Bowling Club just across the road. Robyn greeted us warmly at reception, and we chatted about places we’d lived. Sandstock Motor in has 12 units in a single row, and we were in number 12 at the far end. The room was a pleasant surprise, with everything needed for an overnight stay, just as described on the website. It had a queen bed with a firm but comfortable mattress, plus a smart TV with various streaming services. We’d happily stay again.

Robyn and hubby welcomed us right from the start at Sandstock on our road trip, and breakfast was great. I accidentally left four shirts in the wardrobe, and they went above and beyond by mailing them to me. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great.
