For $80, I'd stay here again. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the old-fashioned setup all worked fine. The shower was hot, though the pressure was pretty low. Parking was tricky since you have to reverse all the way out. It’s the sort of cheap motel you'd expect.

The rooms are dated, but clean and well looked after. There was a TV, internet, kettle, toaster, coffee, hair dryer, and table and chairs. I'd come back.

There was nowhere to park my car, and the owners seemed annoyed that I arrived a little after the time I'd given. Coming from Melbourne, it's hard to pin down an exact ETA. The room had too many mirrors on the walls, and the air con kept making noise even in my dream. I thought someone had a chainsaw. Then I found a small patch of blood on one of the pillows. I imagined the evil woman owner must have slain someone. A step up from Fawlty Towers.
