Manjimup Gateway Hotel

Paul is just what you’d want in an Aussie publican, and Maria, Roberto, Julia and their cheerful team bring that same warm Italian hospitality to the place. It’s our local, and I can blame them for a bit of extra hip width 🤣. The menu has plenty of variety, the food’s delicious, and the pizzas are divine. It’s great for a meal with any size group, or you can just drop in for a drink beside the open fire in the old-fashioned country pub bar. The food was as good as anything we had in Italy.

It’s where I go to unwind after work or have a fun night with friends, and I always feel right at home. The staff are friendly and attentive, the drinks come out perfectly made every time, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. For me, this is easily the best bar in Manjimup, number one in town. A must-visit if you’re in Manjimup!

We could see cows and wallabies from our room, which was pretty cool. The rooms were clean and functional, and the service was great and hassle free. Everyone there was extremely kind and welcoming. At night, we did hear some loud, surprising sounds from the wind and rain hitting something on the roof 😅. It may have been the gnarly thunderstorm.

Four of us had dinner at the restaurant, and all our meals were delicious: steak, gnocchi, fish and a burger. Along with the usual pub options like steak and schnitzel, the menu includes authentic Italian dishes and wood fired 🍕 pizza. The rooms are very clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Service was excellent.
