We stayed in two rooms as a family, and the kids loved the very clean pool. The place is older in style, but everything was very clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the value for money was crazy good. We'll definitely be back.

The negatives were the reason our stay fell short. We chose this place for the heated indoor pool and on-site restaurant, but the pool wasn't heated at all, not even tepid. The restaurant was closed on NYE, so there was no room service either. My husband had been looking forward to hydro therapy while recovering from his two recent knee surgeries, which made the pool issue especially disappointing. There were three adults in our family and we booked two rooms for 2025 NYE. We originally booked with a pet, then cancelled because our puppy was too young. You MUST mention a pet when booking, as they have only a limited number of pet-friendly rooms. The rooms were large and clean, with extra swimming towels available from reception on request. There was ample free parking, a microwave in the room and an easy check-in and check-out process. The Ballarat Golf Club was close by, and luckily its restaurant was easy to book for NYE dinner. It was a very pleasant place, with full table service.

We were right across from the pool and spa area, and the pool was wow, so clean and well maintained. The water was a perfect temperature, and having bathrooms nearby was really convenient. Our room was clean and spacious, and we had a great time at the hotel. The jet tub didn't work, but we enjoyed the other amenities so much that we're already looking forward to coming back soon.

The Bell Tower lnn has been part of our family's Ballarat visits for about 20 years. My parents always stayed there when they came to see family, and now I've carried on the tradition. The care and thoughtfulness of the staff, along with the clean rooms, make for a really enjoyable stay. Special thanks to Ray and Tina for top-notch customer service.

The team are really nice, and the cleaners do a great job. The room must have been upmarket in its day, but we think it needs some TLC now.
