The accessible room worked well for me as someone with impaired vision, but the step into the shower isn’t suitable for people with mobility challenges, and the bathroom isn’t wheelchair accessible. I’d suggest being clear about your needs when booking. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well appointed, and the staff were welcoming and met all our needs. We were there during a wedding party, so I expected some noise, but the room was surprisingly quiet. The grounds had beautiful, well lit gardens, easy walking paths, and a relaxing resort feel. It’s also close to local attractions and the CBD. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay immensely and will come back. The rooms were clean and tidy, with lovely heritage furnishings and good appointments. The dining room was pleasant and the food delicious. The lake and gardens are beautiful too.

We booked this for our wedding night because it was supposed to be a 4.5 star motel, but I beg to differ. The room was very basic, and the spa didn’t work. The bed was two single mattresses pushed together under one double sheet. Loose threads on the sheets kept catching my wife’s feet overnight. The receptionist was quite rude on the phone. We could have found a better room somewhere else for less, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We probably wouldn’t return. The location and setting are lovely, but there are things that need attention. The TV reception was very poor and erratic, even after it warmed up. The mini fridge was on maximum cold but didn’t cool anything. The bed and pillows were okay, and the overhead shower had good pressure, though a handheld shower would be useful. At the function we attended, the chicken was good, but the beef was so overdone it was hard to eat. Service wasn’t great either.
