From the outside it looked pretty basic, but there were lots of good things once inside. The owner was so helpful and clearly worked hard. My room was spotless and enormous, and the older decor and brick walls looked good together. The bed was my one real problem: unbelievably hard, even for someone like me who usually likes a firm mattress. I ended up sleeping on the single beside it, which was a little softer. My husband, who normally never notices beds, also woke up sore for the first time in our 18 years of marriage. Maybe it was just our room, and plenty of people seem fine with the beds, so please don't let this put you off. If they had better beds, I'd stay nowhere else. I still definitely recommend the place.

It was cozy and quiet, and I couldn't hear the neighbors talking or watching TV. The place is dated, but so friendly, and the bed was extremely comfortable with lovely sheets. It was really clean too, with a TV, wifi, heating and cooling, and a great shower. There's a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and cutlery as well. It's a bit out of town, but that's no problem if you've got a car. Highly recommend.

We were really pleased with the service, the rooms and especially the price, and would absolutely come back. The room was surprisingly spacious. It would've been handy if the lounge folded out into another bed for extra sleeping space. The spa was good, though my son did find it loud. I noticed very few issues, and nothing worth dwelling on. Thanks.

We had a clean, spacious deluxe spa room for a couple of nights. The owners and staff were friendly and courteous, and the price was very reasonable. We'll definitely stay again next time.

For a no frills business stop, this was just what I needed: somewhere clean to sleep for the night. The staff were lovely, and the room was very clean. You can sometimes feel unsure about a motel, but I had no concerns here. I'd recommend it and choose it again next time I need to stay in Ballarat. Thank you.
