The beds were comfortable, and the place was peaceful. We stopped here for one night during a recent road trip and found the modern, fresh room very comfortable. Having a microwave, crockery, utensils and washing-up supplies meant we could eat in. We skipped the pool because of the weather, though it looked like a nice area. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Those biscuits left in the room for tea were such a nice old-fashioned touch. We had a quiet night and slept well in a great bed. The newly renovated room was very pleasing, and I couldn't fault our overnight stay. A map of local attractions in the motel information folder would be a useful addition. I'd recommend this place to anyone passing through Ballina.

We had room 1 beside the pool, and the staff and cleaners were friendly. The refurbishment since our last visit is really nicely done, especially the pool, which has had a huge facelift. One thing, though: the contract gardener fired up the whipper snipper right outside our window at 7.30am. FFS, they could have started away from the guest rooms.

Getting into town was easy, with the centre nearby. The room was clean, modern and lovely, with plenty of space and a good-sized bathroom. Electronic entry made arriving late really simple. A fantastic place to stay!

The rooms are clean and well equipped, and the price was very reasonable. It's all ground-floor accommodation, so you can park right outside your room. Booking remotely was slick, with all the details sent by email and no need to check in. You'll want a car, though; the ocean isn't too far away, and there is a pool on site.
