The views are the one real highlight here, with the motel right beside Lake Bonney. The room was just okay: the bed was hard, though the shower was fine and the TV and fridge worked well. The restaurant has unfortunately closed this year, there’s no pool, and the tennis court is looking tired. The place feels very run down. Whoever oversees the budget should take a fresh look at its potential, especially given those amazing views.

Such a peaceful spot, and that view is lovely. We stayed for a regatta and had a really pleasant time. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. There was also a mini fridge, kettle, microwave and hairdryer.

It was quiet and affordable, and far enough from the busy park next door. The hosts were lovely and the location was great. Would definitely recommend!

The place was peaceful, very clean and good value, with a comfy bed and quality fittings and linen. Sound carries through the walls, though, so you can hear the TV and people talking. Bring earplugs. Also, Golden Elephant in Berri is a great Indian curry place, about 15 minutes away.
