The owners are what really made this stay stand out. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful with local tips and anything else we needed. It’s clear they care about guests and take pride in the motel. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. The motel is family-friendly and well located for exploring Barooga and the surrounding area. There’s a great pool, a pool table and dart board for entertainment, and a well-set-up BBQ area for an easy evening meal. Even with all those facilities, it was quiet and peaceful. We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t fault it. Whether you’re staying overnight or for a few days, it’s a great choice. We’ll definitely return and would happily recommend it.

The location was great, with the botanical gardens across the road and a kids’ playground with a splash park a short walk away. I stayed at Sunrise motel with my two young kids, and we loved it. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The clean BBQ and cooking utensils were a bonus, and there was also a TV and pool table in the barbecue area. The kids had fun in the pool too.

The hosts were so pleasant and helpful, and I’d be happy to stay here again. The room was huge and comfortable, with a nice bed, and it was clean. There’s a covered seating area and a pool outside.

The hosts were awesome and went above and beyond to make sure we had a relaxed, comfortable stay. Our room was spacious, clean and had all the facilities we needed, and the TV with Netflix was a bonus. They provided a portable cot for our baby, so we didn’t have to bring our own. A fantastic little spot in a great location in Barooga.

It had a comfortable, homely feel and was very well appointed. We only stayed one night each way on our holiday journey. We didn’t use the BBQ area or swimming pool, but both looked inviting. If we come back this way, we’d definitely stay again.
