Renee is lovely and did everything she could to make our stay great. I stayed here for a night with my son and girlfriend, and we loved it. The room was tidy and clean, with a mattress and pillows that were just right. Bedding is often where a place lets you down, but Kon Tiki got it right. Renee’s sweet dog Holly was a sweetheart too. We’ll be back and highly recommend it.

After a long drive, this was just right for our traveling family. The host was truly lovely, and it’s great for kids. There’s a small kitchen and laundry facilities on site, while the beach and its large playground are directly across the road.

The host earns one star, but the accommodation is so old I’d give it none if I could. At $200 a night it wasn’t worth the price, maybe $50 at most in its current state. The bed made us roll toward the edge and nearly fall out, and I woke with a bad back. We also had giant cockroaches and a giant spider to deal with. The kitchen utensils weren’t usable, so we ate out. The old lounge chairs were too uncomfortable to sit in for long, and one of the table chairs was held together with duct tape. It’s too old to rent out without a major upgrade.

These are older apartments, but they’re neatly maintained and have a good atmosphere. The landlady was very sweet and welcoming, and the kitchen had all the utensils and equipment we needed.
