We got a free upgrade after our family room was double booked by mistake, and the replacement was much better than we expected. The service felt better than at some high end hotels, with plenty provided. Staff were polite, the rooms were clean, and there was an iron and ironing board. We'd recommend it.

They found a safe spot for our jet ski overnight, which was really helpful. The people were lovely to deal with, and the affordable accommodation was clean. It’s close enough to everything that getting around town on foot was easy.

Chris was such a nice guy and moved me to a room near my bike. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great too. Had a really good stay, highly recommend.

The location was the best part, right across from the promenade with a great view of Bateman's Bay. Observation point, Sunshine bay and the esplanade with its food options are all just a short drive away. The room itself was only average. The old AC was noisy, the fridge was off when we arrived and smelled strongly of fish, and the bed was very uncomfortable. Our stay was just alright.

There's a top quality Thai restaurant right next door, and the restaurants in the town centre are about a 10 minute walk away. The owners are friendly, the rooms are quiet and clean, the beds are comfortable, and everything worked without any odd smells. It's an honest, classic country motel with the essentials, just as described, not a Crowne Plaza or the Ritz.
