Gilligan's Kangaroo Island

There was no privacy. We had rented the whole house, yet the owners came onto the property while we were out and switched off the air conditioning without letting us know. It was 39 degrees outside, and we had left it running because we were coming and going and wanted the house cool when we got back. The night before, it took five hours for the air conditioning to reach the third bedroom, and it was still warm after all that time. It was really uncomfortable, and even with a fan the room stayed very warm all night. When I asked the owners about someone entering, their answers were vague. They later said the cleaners had checked the gas bottles, something they could have done while preparing the house the day before. But the cleaner was apparently the owner's wife, who had cleaned the house before we arrived, according to his text. Even after they knew someone had been inside, they called it “weird” that anyone would enter. If they truly didn't know, I would have expected them to investigate, since nobody should have gone in. After several messages, it became clear to us that the owner had turned off the air conditioning. He said he was concerned about the electricity cost, despite having solar panels on the roof. We checked online, and the amounts he mentioned didn't seem close to what that cost would be. I ran out of room to finish this review, so I uploaded the rest as photos, including the transcript of the phone messages.
