There are only four chalets, with plenty of space between them, and ours was clean and tidy. The owners were friendly, and we had a very peaceful, relaxing weekend. There’s no internet and only Telstra mobile coverage, which suited us perfectly. It was the first weekend in ages I didn’t get calls, texts, or emails from clients. One thing the chalets could use is fly spray, as the March flies got inside very quickly.

We loved the kangaroos hanging around, and with just four cottages the property feels private and peaceful. A beautiful place to stay, highly recommended.

A nice spot for a getaway, and well placed for exploring the Pemberton region. The chalets are sweet, fairly spacious for what they are, and have pretty much everything you need. I did find them a little expensive, though. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the shower was underwhelming.

Roger, the owner, was friendly and courteous. The chalets were clean and well equipped, surrounded by majestic karri trees in beedlup national park, with plenty of wildlife to see and feed. Loved our stay, definitely recommend it, 10/10.

The caretakers were rude and unhelpful when a visitor came looking for us. She was turned away abruptly and told no one by our name was staying there. We also found the lake was more like a puddle, even after record rainfall, and farther from the chalets than the website suggested. I wouldn’t put myself or my kids in the canoe, which looks like it hasn’t been used in years. The website gives a completely misleading impression. There’s no Wi-Fi at all, and there’s no phone reception either. Although the guest information says visitors can use the office Wi-Fi, when we asked, we were sent to Pemberton, a 25-minute drive away, and weren’t allowed to use it. The chalets were clean, as long as you don’t look at the light shades, but our view was of a building construction site instead of the outlook shown online. For the price, that wasn’t worth it. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. I know the area well and have stayed at many other places that would rate much higher in my reviews.
