The communal bathrooms were spacious and everything was really clean. The ensuites could use an upgrade, though. We had a powered ensuite site for three nights, with hot showers and friendly staff. It's a relatively small park, but has what you need and a nice overall vibe. Good location, too.

The ladies in the office were really friendly and helpful. We stayed one night in a pet friendly cabin that was clean and nice, with an enclosed verandah and a grassy area where the dogs could run and play. Couldn't ask for more, we were very happy. We'll come back with our caravan.

Our big family group had a fantastic time at the Marong Big4. The park was well looked after, with everything we needed, and the established trees at our sites gave us lovely shade in the heat. The staff were friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed the pedal bikes, golf simulator, swimming pool and pool table. Great place to stay.

We didn't get to use the pool, though it looked inviting. I only spotted the off leash pet area as we were packing up, sadly. Site 23 was easy to reverse into, with a great concrete pad and well-kept grass. It was quiet and sheltered from noise and other campers. The amenities were kept wonderfully clean, even down to the paper towels, and the air conditioning was on and heating the facilities early in the morning. The camp kitchen was excellent, and I made some great sourdough items there.

The park was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Bendigo's CBD. It's about a 15 minute drive into town or to Kangaroo Flat for Woolies, and IGA is around 7 minutes away. The staff are amazing and the facilities are great. We'd definitely recommend it and come back.
