I found the motel a bit too far from the city centre. The room itself was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed and very effective air conditioning. The shower was clean too, and had strong pressure and lovely warm water. Not having any person to deal with for payment or check-in and check-out took away from the experience.

The staff were quick to respond when I messaged about the Wi-Fi, and offered a partial refund, but two weeks later it still hadn't come through. I was in Bendigo for work on my birthday and booked the spa studio as a treat since being away from my loved ones was hard. I thought a spa and movie night would be nice. The Wi-Fi in my room didn't work, so I had to find a local restaurant with internet to finish my work, and the movie plan was out. The spa plug wouldn't seal either, so I couldn't fill the bath. When I reported the spa problem, I got a rude reply about using the right reporting number. They'd messaged me earlier with a phone number and said to use it if I needed anything, and had been responsive about the Wi-Fi. I don't want to have to figure out reporting procedures just to get what the room is meant to include. A simple apology and acknowledgement of how disappointing it was would have been enough. I won't stay again, and suggest you don't either.

I've returned to this hotel many times on trips to Bendigo. The rooms are always perfectly clean, and I've had a fantastic stay every time.

The kids were especially happy with the spa and having a TV of their own. We had a comfortable family room that accommodated all five of us, and it was clean and quiet. The price for two nights was very good. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi was a little slow.

I keep coming back when I visit Bendigo. The rooms are clean and a good size, and the team responds promptly.
