The bedsheets in both bedrooms were clearly dirty, with hair, dandruff and lots of stains. The bedding smelled, too, and looked like it hadn’t been changed for several nights. That’s unacceptable anywhere, especially at over $200 a night. We contacted the owner to explain and discuss a possible partial refund rather than leave a bad review straight away. After an initial “sorry to hear that,” they never replied. The lack of response made a disappointing stay worse, and I hate to say I wouldn’t recommend booking here. The house itself is nice and centrally located, but it’s right beside a main road and got rather noisy from about 5 am.

Comfy beds, a great shower, and everything we needed. The vibe was great, and the location was handy. Highly recommended!

Traffic made it a little noisy at night, but the stay was comfortable and very handy for Bendigo CBD.
