The Berri Bubble Lodge

Berridale is a sweet little town, and this was a great alternative to staying in Jindabyne. After driving from Sydney following work, checking in late was easy with the keypad entry. The room was spacious and had more facilities than we needed, including a kitchenette and a decent bathroom with a towel warmer. There’s a pub nearby for the evening and a great cafe for the morning before driving to Perisher. We even went down the road for a lovely wine tasting. We really enjoyed the stay and would like to try it in the warmer months.

A bacon and egg roll from the cafe around the corner set us up for a quick ski, and on the way back we had time to explore Berridale and try a wine tasting down the road. We arrived late for a ski weekend at perisher, but keypad entry made check-in easy. The place was spacious and had a nice bathroom. My partner and I were really keen to go, and it’s been a cracker of a season. Seeya later in the season Berri bubble xo

The kitchen setup let us do all our cooking, though washing up while cooking was tricky without a dishwasher. We used the mini fridge, sink, microwave, and banquet electrics cooking stove. It worked for meat, grilled vegetables, and sunny side up eggs, but not curries. There was an electric Kelly’s as well. The place had a small dining table with four chairs, a small kitchen area, and a larger room with a bunk bed leading into another room with bunk beds. We booked well ahead for the school holidays and were quite happy with the place.

Thanks for the beautiful place in such a quiet, peaceful setting. We were seven people and had a lot of rubbish, so please leave extra bin liners underneath. It would also help to provide extra toilet rolls, shower gels, soaps, and toilet slippers. Please clarify that the cookware means just an Anko electric pan, boiler, and toaster. There are two fireplaces in the house, so please say in the description whether guests can burn firewood.
