The location was convenient and quiet, and I got a relaxing night’s sleep. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I was especially impressed by how clean it was and the attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Great value and outstanding service. I’d definitely stay here again.

When my car broke down in Yea, I was so glad to find this hotel right in the middle of town. It’s opposite the cafes and bakeries, and the price was very reasonable. My recently updated room was clean and comfortable, and really quiet. I loved the bed and pillows, just the right softness, and the linen was lovely too.

The rooms are a classic motel style and quite dated, but that didn’t bother me because everything was clean and comfortable. The bed was good, the room was warm, and the hot water was great. I couldn’t fault my stay. The new owner started last week and has already done a great job getting the rooms up to a high standard. I’d happily stay again when I’m in Yea for work.

The new owner was very helpful and has done a great job with the motel. It’s excellent value and very clean, right in the heart of Yea with all services within walking distance. The pub is just across the road, which is nice.

A group of cyclists could stay here comfortably for a few nights while riding the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Tartan Motel is very well located, clean, and comfortable, with all the basic needs covered. Good value for money too.
