Yves made check-in easy and was really friendly and helpful. The unit is new, modern, and very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture. Shops and restaurants are an easy walk away. The shower had plenty of hot water, and 5G was strong enough for us since the Wi-Fi signal was weak. The bed felt too soft for me, and the big high pillows made it uncomfortable.

We loved watching the little blue wrens in the morning and evening, and the owners were friendly and gave us helpful ideas for things to do around Bicheno. The Shack has a great view of the blowhole from the deck, right across the road. Our three-night stay was relaxed and beachy, with everything clean and tidy, a very comfortable king bed, and a hot shower with good pressure. We'd definitely come back to this cabin. Thanks so much!

The air conditioner struggled to warm the cabin, even after hours on high, so we were glad they had heated blankets. There wasn't a smart TV either, so if you want streaming in the evening, bring something like a Chromecast. Still, the staff were extremely friendly, and the location is hard to beat. Almost everything is a 10-15 minute walk or a two-minute drive away, and we could see the ocean and Bicheno blowhole from our balcony. The cabins have lots of character, especially with each one painted a different color. Ours could have used a little more decor, but we had a great stay and would recommend it.

The staff were some of the friendliest people you'll meet. We had a great time playing tennis and swimming in the pool, and it's a lovely place for all sorts of people.

Wallabies came by in the evening, and the sea is only 300m away. The rooms look cute from outside, though inside they're fairly standard motel style. Lovely place, and very good value for five people.
