Aquarius Kawana

We booked two nights because I had a nearby medical appointment, and the hospital was only a two-minute walk away. There are a couple of places to eat nearby, including a Thai restaurant. The apartment was very clean, with a small balcony overlooking the water. A lovely young woman at reception welcomed us and explained everything. We also enjoyed the pool and BBQ area. We’ll definitely come back.

The staff, including reception and the cleaners, were friendly, and I’d stay here again. We had a spacious balcony and a nice view from our corner apartment, which also had an extra side window, though it was too humid to sit outside. The apartment had a full kitchen and laundry. We’d booked a one-bedroom unit, but it was set up as a two-bedroom apartment with the second bedroom and bathroom closed off and a sign asking us not to use them. Our floor felt a little oily, possibly because of the cleaning detergent, and the shower was slippery at first, maybe for the same reason. We could also hear a lot of footsteps from the apartment above, both in the evening and early morning. We booked online just 20 minutes before arrival, and the staff already had our paperwork ready. There’s basement parking with a lift nearby.

The rooms and bathrooms were much bigger than the photos suggested, and the view from the fourth floor felt like something from a movie. The beds were comfortable, the lounge was great, the air conditioning got nice and cold, and the pool was brilliant. Tess and Ella at reception were phenomenal from check-in to check-out, with top-tier customer service. 10/10, couldn’t recommend a better venue!

We had friends visit while we were there, and they’re planning to stay here now too. The place was clean, had everything we needed, and the pool was nice. Parking was easy, and the staff were awesome. It met all our needs and was a fantastic stay.
