Comfort Inn Redleaf Resort

The location was good, in a quiet area not far from the town centre, and the price seemed reasonable for a late booking. But it didn’t feel reflected in the room, and we won’t return. The family room was a letdown, looking worn and badly in need of a fresh coat of paint and new sheets. The small bathroom also seemed neglected and needed work. The double bed mattress was broken and so uncomfortable that we both slept badly, rolling together on a bed that wasn’t very big. We didn’t see any staff because of the Covid restrictions, so can’t comment on them. The arrival instructions were straightforward and fair for the situation, but the stay just wasn’t comfortable.

I stayed one night as a woman travelling alone and thought this was a fantastic hotel. The room was roomy and very clean, with nice tea and coffee, and the bathroom tiles weren’t slippery at all. The beds were comfy and had electric blankets. I’d happily stay for one night or longer.

The bed felt a bit hard to me, though my husband loved it. Everything else made for a great night at Redleaf Resort: friendly, attentive and helpful staff, a clean, well-appointed room at a great price, and a central location for Blue Mountains attractions. The pool was excellent, warm and clean. Dinner at The Smokehouse Blue Mountains was a great recommendation, with good food, service and price. Looking forward to another stay.

The pool was a highlight, even with it 8 degrees outside, the water was warm enough for a swim. There’s also a sauna you can book and a tennis court, and the games room sounded fun, though we didn’t get to try it. Our room was spacious and clean, and the whole Inn felt less dated than some reviews suggested. Staff were nice, and breakfast was worth the price, with eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomato, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, desserts, several breads including GF, GF muesli, juice, milk and coffee. We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it. I’d suggest explaining the facilities and breakfast options at check-in. I know that information is in the room or booking details, but it’d be easier to hear it when you arrive.
