The meals come out really fast, and there's a huge menu. I loved the pizza, the steak was fantastic, and the food is a big part of why I'm enjoying my visit. The staff are young, friendly and vibrant, always ready with a greeting and a smile. My room is tidy, comfortable and great value, and even the pokies are on point. A fantastic example of how to run a pub. Keep it up 👌👍🍺🍕

After I was slapped, the manager blamed me and showed no sympathy, brushing it off as if I wasn't the victim of an assault. A group of girls came up afterward and told me another story about the same person. I haven't gone out of my way to write a review in 10 years, but the way these people handled this made it worth doing. Terrible management, terrible pub, terrible people.

The meals were faultless and well worth the price. Ordering delivery through the website was easy, and the food arrived hot and on time. I'll order again, definitely worth trying.

The chips and gravy were fine, but the meal was a big letdown. I ordered a 1kg Tomahawk steak medium rare and expected a thick, tender, flavourful cut with a pink centre. What arrived looked like about 800g of bone and maybe 200g of steak, cooked closer to medium-well. It was dry, overdone and lacked the juiciness you'd expect from a proper Tomahawk. Given the price and how it was advertised, I expected better quality from a place like The Capricorn.

- 1 ⭐️ What a joke. The steak, gf chips, salad and Dianne gravy were disappointing. The bar staff were lovely, though.
