Sitting in the sun on the sofa with a glass of white wine, looking out over the farmland as a light breeze relaxed me, with soft rock playing on the CD player and birds singing outside, made me think this kind of life really isn’t so bad. The house had so much in it, from furniture to pots, pans, cups and books. There was plenty of firewood for the fireplace, and even a CD player. The host was wonderfully friendly and quick to check in with us about any issues. His attention to detail was admirable. This is the best house I’ve stayed in in Australia. If I visit Tasmania again, I’ll definitely stay here.

We only had one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage was cute and had everything we needed, and we’ll definitely return. The restaurant right next door was a surprise, with friendly staff and excellent food. A wonderful place to stay.

This was my second visit, and this time I brought my wife 🤣. The views from this beautiful little cottage are amazing, and it feels relaxing and homely as soon as you walk in. We loved the spa bath and toasting marshmallows over the living room fire. You’ve thought of everything, and the place was spotlessly clean. It’s a credit to you. We can’t wait to come back. The cottage’s old style charm was such a delight, and the bed was really comfortable. The spa was wonderful too. We spent our wedding night here in Hannah’s cottage in January and were greeted by Debbie, the owner, who was warm, lovely and bubbly. Although it was summer, we switched on the AC so we could enjoy the gorgeous open fire, with plenty of wood in the box. We’re coming back this weekend and are excited to see Debbie again. 10/10
