We had everything we needed in the lovely, clean apartment at Cloud 8. The balcony looks out over the bay, and the sunsets were amazing. Cafes and bakeries are an easy walk along the beach walkways, which made it a nice way to start the day. It felt like a little slice of paradise. We’ll be back and highly recommend it.

We feel like we’ve been robbed of our money after the awful treatment from the hotel’s principal/manager. We’d booked only a week earlier and tried to get a refund, as there’s a 40-day cancellation policy. The principal/manager was rude and unhelpful, making up excuses to avoid giving us the refund we believed we were entitled to. We’re shocked by how badly we were treated, especially during the very rude phone conversations.

We booked an apartment on Wotif for a family Christmas vacation, arranged flights and made our plans, then got an email the next day saying, sorry, “the owners have booked it.” It feels extremely unprofessional. Surely the owners would have confirmed the apartment was unavailable before now, especially for a Christmas booking.

The unit was spacious and had great facilities, and the location was great. Parking on site is limited to small cars, though there’s plenty of street parking.

They’d thought of everything, right down to stubbie holders. We found a complimentary bottle of wine and some bottles of water in the fridge, too. The unit was well looked after, spotlessly clean and had comfortable beds. It’s close to everything and made for an easy, stress-free stay. We couldn’t fault the place and will be back, hopefully when the grandkids visit later in the year!
