The place was clean and tidy, and the people were friendly. The beach is right across the road with a great walking track, and there’s an IGA about 50 metres away with a cafe downstairs and a bus stop outside. You get one key for the front door, one for the back door to the car park (the top step needs fixing), and one for your room. There’s no breakfast or Wi-Fi. I tried using Starlink, even putting it as far out as I could on the roof awning, but couldn’t get a signal. The kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster, though the fridge has no freezer. Water pressure was poor in both the shower and sink, and only some TV channels worked, mainly channel 7, with 9 and 10 unavailable. You can feel the mattress springs, so I didn’t sleep comfortably. A thicker topper or a good mattress from AHBeard might help. Three stars out of five.

We were surprised by how lovely and quiet the room was, with a gorgeous view and clean, comfortable facilities. It had AC, a kitchenette, TV and bathroom, and there’s parking on site. The managers were kind, very helpful and knew the area well. The beach is an easy walk across the road. There’s a cafe downstairs, supermarkets within a 2-minute walk and others about 8 minutes away, plus restaurants and takeaways within 10 minutes on foot. A really relaxing stay, thank you to the hosts.

We stayed here for a couple of nights while in Bribie for a wedding at Sandstone Point, which was nice and close by. The room was basic, but clean and spacious. They left cereal, bread and jams in the room for breakfast. Good value if you just need a no-frills place to stay.

The location was good, but there was jam and no bread. Mould covered the shower, and the ceiling was even worse. I went to the office, but nobody was there. The steps were also difficult for me because I have a breathing problem.

I’ve stayed here several times now. The owners are really friendly and helpful, and the place is neat and tidy. I’d definitely recommend it. Best accommodation in Bribie Island.
