We needed somewhere to stop because of flooded roads. The staff were friendly and the service was great. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. Being pet friendly was a bonus.

The family room suited our needs well, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for the price.

We stayed one night while travelling farther north, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The room was dusty, cobwebby and had dirty walls, including something spilled on them that hadn’t been wiped off. The shower was mouldy and leaked across the floor. The bed sheets felt like Velcro, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and a rooster started crowing at 4am. Never again.

I won’t stay at this motel again. I was charged a $5.20 credit card surcharge that hadn’t been specified in bookings. Com, and when I raised it, the old cranky lady said she’d refund it. She’d also lost my details, which I wasn’t impressed by, and had rushed me for payment three days early. She was rude and abrupt on the phone while sorting it out. The previous manager was very nice and helpful on my earlier stays.

A handy place for an overnight stop. Road traffic can make it a bit noisy, but otherwise it’s great. The fish and chip shop is only a couple of minutes’ walk, a few doors back, for dinner.
