Jackie was so kind and friendly, Buster the cat was cuteness personified, and George the Peacock was needy and glamorous. Janet also made booking our return visit a simple, practical process, so we’ve already booked again without hesitation. We were fortunate to find this lovely resort. Its location ranks among the best we’ve experienced anywhere, and the stay as a whole was superb. The rooms are scrupulously clean and well equipped, the pool is excellent, the grounds are kept to a high standard, and the staff were excellent. I’d recommend this calm haven to all sorts of travellers, unless you’re a party animal. It’s not the place for that.

The resort is older and could use an update, but the location is awesome. Service was great, the main pool was clean, and the grounds were well kept. Our room was tidy and clean, with a hot shower and an extremely comfortable bed. I hope to come back and stay longer next time.

We made a spur-of-the-moment stop at Whitsunday Sands Resort for one night and would happily stay again. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful breeze, and from the same spot you can see the sunrise and sunset over the water. There are cafes within walking distance, a restaurant next door, beaches in every direction, and a cute little bar at the resort. The facilities and rooms are older, but everything was very clean, the bathrooms have been renovated, and the place is lovingly maintained. I’d recommend it to family and friends.

I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves a visit. Buster the beautiful cat and his owner gave us a warm welcome at reception. We were then amazed by the view from our room and pleasantly surprised by how clean and well kept everything was. With the sea all around and the beach just steps from the door, it felt like a little paradise. Thank you!

Our ground floor unit had great views, and the location is excellent, very close to horseshoe Bay. The room was super clean and tidy, with everything needed for either a night or a longer stay. I’d definitely come back.
