I recently stayed at Plum Tree cottage with family, and the dirt and poor condition were appalling. Cupboard items still had food on them and hadn't been properly washed. The toilet brushes in all three bathrooms were filthy, the front room curtains were grimy and grey, and the bed linen was old and well past its use by date. Some saucepans had no handles, only screws where the handles should have been. There were broken floor tiles at the entrance to the outside bathroom, and more issues besides. It's strange that most other reviews are five stars. I suspect honest reviews don't make it to the public, leaving renters unsuspecting. The place needs a full deep clean, and the managers need to get their act together. Disgusting.
