There’s a wide choice of good quality mains, and they cater for food intolerances. Most meals come with the unlimited salad and hot veg buffet, which is a real plus. The Brandon Tavern is one of the best lunch or dinner spots around the Burdekin, with great value prices and a 20% seniors discount. Highly recommended.

We had huge feeds and such great service from the lovely ladies who served us. Love this little place for a stay, a meal, and a good time. One of those golden gems worth stopping at for a night, a week, or forever.

We stayed in our van on the grassy site out back for just $20, unpowered, and had a 20% off voucher for dinner. It’s a great overnight stop when you’re travelling through. The pub is family friendly, with kids eating free on Monday nights, generous servings, and an unlimited salad and veg buffet with most meals. Highly recommend.
