We spent three quiet nights here just after the Christmas break and really enjoyed the calm. It’s a lovely spot away from the rush of everyday life. The venue is neat and tidy, and the chalets have what you need. They’re well worn, but that shows their durability.

We stayed for three nights in a two-bedroom chalet and enjoyed the countryside, with chickens, sheep, goats and a very friendly cat. There are play areas, mini golf and a pool for warmer days. The fire inside was much appreciated in the cool weather. The winery next door has lovely wine, and Bridgetown is only a short drive away. A great getaway, definitely recommended 😀

We had a great stay in a comfortable chalet with a rustic feel and everything well appointed. Sitting on our private deck, barbecuing and watching the birds was lovely. A gate at the top of the stairs would have helped keep our toddler safe, or in our case stop our dog chasing the birds. She didn’t manage it! We’d consider coming back.

The wood fire was a real highlight and kept us toasty. We also got to see two little lambs being born, which felt pretty special. We loved being able to cook breakfast and dinner in the chalet, and the owners communicated brilliantly. Thanks for such a relaxing break.

We love coming back to Sunnyhurst Chalets, and this was our second visit. The owner is friendly and makes you feel welcome. With two kids aged 2 and 4, the cosy log fire chalet, farm animals, mini golf and playground were all great for us. Thanks again, Sunnyhurst 🙂 We’ll be back for a third time. Cheers 😉
