Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane Anzac Square

We stayed at Adina Anzac Square the night before our wedding and again on the night itself. Our room had a lovely older boutique look, which made for some nice getting-ready photos. It was surprisingly quiet, with no road noise or sounds from other guests. Thanks to the team for making us feel right at home. Highly recommend it if you're getting married at the Brisbane registry, just a very short walk away, or if you're visiting.

The bathroom could be improved: the shower head was small, and having the shower over the bath made it hard to keep water off the floor. Otherwise, the water pressure was fine and there were no issues. I loved the quiet rooms, which had everything I needed: a small fridge, microwave, stovetop and even a washing machine. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the blackout curtain worked a treat. I had the best sleep. The well-maintained Art Deco building is gorgeous, with beautiful floor tiles, wallpaper and other details. It's directly across from Central Railway station, with a bus stop a skip away and the Anzac Square memorial next door. There's a great coffee shop 30 seconds away and metro Coles underneath. The staff were wonderful, especially Monique and Juan, who made my stay incredibly comfortable. Loved it here and would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The hotel is clean, modern and in a great spot directly across from Central Station. The first night was difficult because Room 4032 on the fourth floor had a constant low-frequency noise. It seemed to come from the rooftop above and from behind the bedroom wall, where it sounded like water was continuously flowing. The persistent noise made me feel uncomfortable and almost nauseated, and it was very hard to relax or sleep. I was told there were no other rooms available then. The next day, management arranged a room change, and the new room is much quieter and more comfortable. I really appreciate their responsiveness and effort. I'm staying here to prepare for an important exam, so a quiet environment matters. Aside from that initial problem, my experience has been positive thanks to the helpful, professional management.

The pool was a nice bonus, and having a cafe in the complex made things convenient. The outdoor rinse shower could use improvement, though, and the gym needs a few more useful pieces of equipment. The rooms had more than we needed, and the staff were lovely. George St Adina is just a few minutes' walk from everything, so it's a great base for a Brisbane city trip.
