The rooms are extremely basic and not worth the price. Another guest told me their room wasn’t ready when they arrived and they found a syringe wrapped in toilet paper in the bathroom, which is absolutely unacceptable. I stayed for a week and wouldn’t recommend it. Staff never checked whether I needed towels, toiletries or a room refresh, so I had to chase everything myself. The only time they offered to do anything was when I asked for a broom to clean my own room. It often felt unsafe, with drunk people hanging around and loud noise on most nights. I felt I had to keep my room and car locked at all times. I was also falsely accused of having someone stay in my room. They showed CCTV screenshots as “proof”, but it was only one second from a two-minute clip, showing someone dropping something off, completely out of context. The way this was handled was very unprofessional. Management needs to improve safety, cleanliness and how guests are treated. I wouldn’t stay again.

The extra charges weren’t clear when I booked online, so I didn’t stay. From the outside, the place looked run down, messy and outdated, and access from the main road wasn’t clear. The staff member wasn’t honest and hid behind a manager who wasn’t there, yet still had authority to give back more than 80% of one night’s charge before I stayed. Unacceptable practices. There are better places in the same block that are worth the money.

The people working here were wonderful and gave very good service. It’s close to parks and shops, and I stayed four days. But the door didn’t lock properly, the aircon didn’t work, and all the drawers and cupboards had broken doors. I’d come back if they fix the aircon and door.

I booked for one night, but the place freaked me out so much that I left to get a refund in under an hour. The room reeked of bleach, as if all of Brisbane’s mould had gathered in that dingy motel and someone had poured a whole bottle of bleach on the floor to deal with it. It felt dirty in general. The walls and bedsheets were paper-thin, and I could hear residents sneezing and pacing around at full volume. Stay away and book literally anywhere else.
