The room and service were fine during our three-day stay. The frustrating part was the $200 security deposit. We’d paid the full amount online, but at check-in were told the deposit would be refunded immediately when we checked out. At checkout, they said it could take 2-5 days. When we called the next day, the estimate had changed to 10-15 business days. That’s ridiculous for a holding fee. Edit: the money did come back, but it took over 15 days.

I booked around 8 am and had to pay before arriving. A minute later, reception texted to say my card had been declined and they couldn’t take payment. The Commonwealth Bank app was still under maintenance, so I explained that I couldn’t transfer money to the card yet and asked if they could wait, since check-in wasn’t until 3 pm. They said they didn’t care and wanted to charge my card right then. Two minutes later, they cancelled my booking.

Management needs proper training, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. The woman was rude and aggressive, and doesn’t seem able to handle customers or appreciate their business. I don’t think she should be in that position.

Very happy with my stay, no complaints. The room was clean and spacious, the staff were helpful, and the location was good. Thank you.
