The rooftop pool is amazing, the kitchen is huge with lots of fridge space, and there’s plenty of room to relax on every floor. Rooms were clean, and housekeeping was quiet in the mornings. The laundry facilities are generous too. When a washing machine broke, they even made free dryers available to everyone. The staff were very friendly, and Sarah deserves a huge shoutout for her attitude and the way she carries herself. She’s an absolute gem and should be running the place soon. The pool looked murky and could’ve been maintained more often. It seemed like they added lots of chemicals to fix it, when they really should’ve closed the pool then. The filtered tap was sometimes warm, a small annoyance on a hot day. Trains were audible, but I actually liked the reminder that the station was close. I’d highly recommend it for an affordable, comfortable stay, and I’ll be back.

The hostel is large, modern, and clean, with helpful, friendly staff and a nice rooftop pool. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Roma street station and the coaches, and the CBD is a 15 minute bus ride away. Rooms are spacious, with a large locker and a thoughtful setup that puts lights and power by each bed. The showers and toilets are big and clean, though there aren’t many per floor, so mornings and evenings can mean a wait. Some rooms have a good sized en suite bathroom.

We had a pleasant stay in a generally good hostel. The rooms were clean, though the train was very audible from bed and could bother light sleepers. The kitchen worked fully and was reasonably clean, which we appreciated. Bathrooms were clean too, but it varied a little depending on the time of day. One minor gripe, the frying pans were pretty worn and could use replacing.

The breakfast was good, and the staff were proper, friendly, and helpful. I spent two nights here in an individual room, though the building also has standard hostel rooms. The room was quite good and had all the amenities. The main nuisance was construction in the large building next door. The air conditioning thermostat didn’t work, so the room became either very cold or, if we switched it off and opened the windows a little, noisier.
