Brisbane Street Studios

I’ve been coming back to Brisbane Studio every four weeks for work since 2023, and it’s started to feel like a second home. The handy location makes each stay easy: the bus stop is right beside the property, the city center is about 10 minutes away by bus, and Brisbane Airport is roughly 20 minutes away via the highway. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and coffee shops too. The rooms are clean and well maintained, with different room types available and a small kitchen in each, which works well for longer visits. The bathroom and kitchen both have excellent hot and cold water pressure. Tim, the general manager, is friendly, attentive, and quick to help whenever I need something. It suits short and long stays, and I’d recommend Brisbane Studio.

We were really happy with the price and the stay. There were lots of shops close by, so we could get what we needed without going far, and the hospital was nearby too. They were fabulous about holding our bags until we could head back to the airport. I also loved seeing the possum, since they’re pests back home in NZ. The noise was fine and about what we expected. The shower was the main drawback. Water ran past the metal edge and all over the toilet area, so we had to mop it up with our towels to avoid slipping and ending up in hospital ourselves. The TV was odd too, it kept switching on by itself, and we had to get up and turn it off at the wall for some peace.

The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the location worked really well for us. It’s not a luxury place, and there was some noise on weeknights from the nearby construction. Still, I’d definitely stay here again if I needed to be in this area.

I only needed a room to sleep in while visiting PA Hospital, and this was a perfect spot, just a short walk away. Kathleen and Tim were fantastic and so accommodating with my last minute reservation. They made the trip much easier, and I can’t thank them enough.
