The apartment we hired was fabulous, and the blocks are in a great spot in the heart of Fortitude Valley. But the place looks shabby, dirty and neglected now, though it was probably very nice at one time. The pool area, which is probably the main draw for these apartments, is vile. Bird mess is everywhere and the pool is filthy. I personally wouldn’t swim in it and definitely wouldn’t let children in. The bbq kitchens don’t look as if they’re working, and if they are, they look like death traps. It’s such a shame. If this were my apartment, I’d be having some serious conversations with the body corporate.

We reported someone trying to break into our apartment twice, and the police were notified. The Property Manager was supportive, but another staff member asked, “what do you expect me to do” when we brought up the security concern. There were also public notices about alleged drug selling on boards at the main entrance and in the garage. The security situation is worrying.

There was rubbish around, and every night brought parties, drinking, noise, and people “playing” in the spa. It’s not a good fit if you want a quiet, relaxing stay. The place looked better in the photos.

I spent plenty of time having a few drinks by the pool and spar. The place has a beautiful view, and the nightlife is unbelievable, though it can also be nice and quiet if that’s what you’re after.

The cigarette smoke and strong dope stink keep wafting into my unit on Axx daily. I’ve sent over 20 emails in 12 months and made a formal complaint, with photos and timelines, and I’ve begged CMP to sort it out. 'TODD' gets 'BENNY'S ' emails about the complaint, but nothing happens. It still stinks in my unit on 3/9/25 with the balcony door shut. Good luck with viewings this week and next. Reel in the SUCKERS. If you’re fine with cigarette and dope stink, happy paying!!!
