Eastwood Apartments

I’ve been using Eastwood Apartments for more than 10 years, and every stay has been a great experience. The location is good, and onsite management is excellent. The team is professional and quick to respond to requests. Yang in particular has been terrific and provided first class service. I definitely recommend it.

My car was stolen while I was renting there. The people involved didn’t handle the situation properly, and I ended up being kicked out of my apartment because of it. I struggled to find somewhere to stay for quite a while afterwards and lost a lot of money, an unfair amount. It’s heartbreaking because I actually loved the place and could see myself buying an apartment there one day, or at least in the area.

I stayed in a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment. One bedroom only has internal windows near the top of the wall, facing the hallway. I arrived at 8 p.m., after the office had closed. I’d let them know in advance by email and through Agoda’s messaging system, so they sent instructions for getting the key from a safe in the car park. A few quick notes: parking was free in the underground car park, with one assigned spot per room. The kitchen had a four burner gas cooker, full size fridge, oven and dishwasher. There was enough cutlery, utensils and cooking gear, but only one pot and one pan, and they were somewhat small, so more or larger ones would be useful. The apartment also had a washing machine and dryer, plus an iron and ironing board. The TV came with Foxtel, and the WiFi was good and strong. Room servicing isn’t daily as it is in hotels. It seems you have to specifically request it, and I’m not sure whether extra charges apply.

The night manager was honest about what had gone wrong and went out of his way to sort it out. I really appreciated the help and service.
