The location is hard to beat, right by Howard Smith Wharves and the River Walk. The building feels like a community, with friendly people around, and the team running it are always cheerful and willing to help. The facilities are stunning, and everything is kept clean and in good condition. If you’re considering living here, I’d say go for it. It’s a great place.

I’ve lived here for 15 years and still love the changing view from my balcony. Friends always react with a string of oohs and aahs when they visit. Now that I’m older, my children feel reassured that I’m here because the security is excellent. There’s usually a visitor parking spot for family or friends, and the reception staff and onsite manager are courteous, pleasant and happy people. The updated facilities are well maintained. The modern gym, sauna and pool with jacuzzi look over the river and city, and the view is spectacular at night. Howard Smith Wharves opened recently, but noise hasn’t bothered me halfway up the building. I actually enjoy the HSW fireworks every month without waiting for the River Fire Festival or New Year. I love this place, and wouldn’t hesitate to rent or buy here.

We’ve returned to Riverplace Apartments three times over the past 15 years, living on levels 12, 13 and 35. The reception team and building management have been second to none compared with buildings we’ve lived in across Dubai, London, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. They communicate well, stay professional and go the extra mile when needed. The location is excellent, about a 10-minute walk to the City or Fortitude Valley. Common areas are kept tidy, and maintenance has always been done promptly. Apartments are well built, with solid walls, good fittings and lovely views from generous balconies. The gym and sauna have been upgraded, and there’s also a 25-metre heated pool, spa and BBQ area. We can’t recommend the building highly enough.

The views are beautiful, and reception have always been polite and friendly. The building is older, though, with somewhat dated furniture, and it can get noisy at times.
