Essence made our wedding morning run smoothly, and I'm so grateful. We first met Christine at an event at our venue, and her tour of the spaces helped us decide to book the conference room as a getting-ready space. There was room for the hair and makeup team to spread out, and it helped everyone relax during a busy morning. The room had lots of natural light, tables, lounge chairs, a dress rack and mirrors, and gave us space for detail and getting-ready photos and video for the bride, groom and whole bridal party. Essence also arranged morning tea and lunch catering, so we didn't have to worry about food and would otherwise have gone without until evening. Christine and Ashleigh checked in often, helped organise towels to dry the bouquets and got us to the cars without a hitch. They also handled check-in and moved our luggage from the Bridesmaid room the night before to the bridal room on the wedding night. That was one less thing for us to manage. Family members have told me more than once how wonderful the setup was. You can tell how much they care about their wedding parties.

We paid $780 and were left disappointed by what felt like a very misleading ad. We booked a two bedroom suite, but at arrival they said they don't actually have two-bedroom suites. Our daughters, aged 10 and 12, were put in a separate hotel room from us. They acted as if that was normal and fine because we'd all have swipe cards to unlock each other's rooms if needed. It might be a nice place for a couple, but this was child endangerment for a family.

After a long night of travel, Salman at reception helped us check in quickly, which we really appreciated. The room was cosy and nice, with no complaints about either the room or bathroom. The cafe downstairs is very convenient, and there are a couple of good restaurants nearby.

Christine and the team at Essence Suites made our wedding weekend wonderful. The wedding preparation package was perfect for hair, makeup and getting-ready photos. Having canapes meant we remembered to eat among all the preparations! A 10/10 experience, many thanks. I'd highly recommend it.

The romance package was a lovely, intimate extra, and staying both the night before and after our wedding worked perfectly because Essence Suites is close to Hillstone St Lucia. We also booked the Wedding Preparation Package, which gave the bridal party a beautiful, well-lit space with enough room for hair and makeup artists to work comfortably. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Ashleigh and Christine were so friendly and helpful throughout, especially when they checked in and took care of us on the wedding morning. We had a wonderful weekend. Thank you for making it so special!
