The food was exceptional, honestly the best pub food I've had in Australia. The Scotch eggs had a great balance, with a refreshing touch of fennel seed, and the boneless buffalo chicken was amazing with hot honey and ranch. Happy hour was good value too, with a pint of Guinness for $10, and the atmosphere was nice.

That rump was awesome with salad and chips, and the beer and wine were good too. The background music really topped it off, a great mix of eras and songs picked by the manager.

I went by myself for dinner on Wed 8th Oct. It's a cozy little pub, clearly popular with locals, and there's a great choice of pints. The food was excellent and filling, and the staff were lovely and attentive. I didn't get the barmaid's name, but she suggested a few beers to try, was really friendly and made me feel at home. Thanks, whoever you are! I could've stayed all night sipping pints if I hadn't been ready to fall asleep. Beats any pubs I've been to in Melbourne!!! Thanks Tas Inn.

The schnitty was amazing, really crispy, and the chips were great too. The people behind the bar were friendly, so all in all it was a great experience and I'd happily come back. I can't stand coleslaw, but I'm still giving it 5/5.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the rates were good. The pub meals are very good as well. It's about a 15-minute walk to Constitution Dock and Salamanca Market, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Great pub, highly recommend staying here.
