The parking was my biggest frustration. I emailed about it about two weeks before arrival and was told I didn't need to book, but when I got there on Friday, there was no parking at the property. They said it would be available Saturday and offered off-site parking not far away, which I appreciated. Still, the problem was being told in advance that parking wouldn't be an issue and then finding it wasn't available. Otherwise, the stay was reasonably good. Check-in was easy, the room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, room service was great, and the included buffet breakfast was better than expected, with the usual options plus some dishes cooked fresh on request. It was handy that the venue also serves lunch and dinner. The room was small but had a decent view, and it was hot, humid and stuffy on arrival. The air conditioning took about 30 minutes to cool things down. It only runs while a room key card is in the wall reader and switches off when you take it out. Leaving the second card in the reader solved that. The parking communication and room temperature on arrival could have been better.

We arrived well before check-in, but the front counter staff welcomed us warmly and stored our bags so we could explore the city. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. When we checked out, they let us store our bags again since our flight wasn't until later. A very nice hotel with great staff. We'll certainly stay with the Ibis Styles group again.

We were visiting friends and stayed for two nights. Our room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfy. It was on a high floor at the end of the hall, which was lucky because we could hear people outside the room. The elevator was a bit slow, but otherwise it was good. The location's great, what more do you need?

The pool was the highlight for me. It was glorious, and I absolutely loved it. The room was clean, with a better-than-expected view, a super comfortable bed, and a surprising amount of quiet. The staff were very friendly, and I couldn't fault anything. The IBIS Styles Hobart is in a fantastic spot, within walking distance of the cinema, great places to eat, the piers and shops. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely go back. Thank you 💜

My son and I stayed here on our first trip to Tasmania. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom was nice, with toiletries provided if you don't want to use your own. It's well located for many points of interest. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay again.
