The rooms were spacious and lovely, and the service was excellent. We had a great view of the harbour, but with the balcony door shut, you couldn’t hear it at all. It’s close to everything and was a fantastic five star stay. I’d highly recommend it.

Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, and the coffee was fantastic. The pastries were fresh and delicious too. Everyone on staff was friendly and polite, and the room was upgraded when a lovely woman at reception welcomed us. The Waterfront Suite at MACq 01 Hotel had an amazing view and excellent amenities, with an incredibly comfortable bed. We stayed in Hobart for my 30th birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was an amazing choice for the occasion, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Csaba checked me in and I felt looked after and welcome right through to the end of my stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very quiet. I also used the gym and guest laundry without any issues. This is one of my favourite hotels, and I’d definitely return.

We only stayed one night, but the waterfront suite was beautiful and spacious, with an outside deck. The service and breakfast were excellent, and the location was just as good. The associated bars and restaurants are fantastic. A definite must-stay in Hobart.

The waterfront views from the rooms were stunning, and everything was beautiful and extremely clean. Staff were professional and accommodating. The breakfast and other food were top-notch and worth adding. Highly recommended.
