Quest Canberra City Walk

I’ve been working for Oscar at Queanbeyan, and my company books accommodation when we spend a few weeks working out in the countryside. Each time I come down, Jawad has been friendly, smiling, and very professional. He goes out of his way to help customers and provides great service. I’m very happy with Quest city’ walk and would recommend a visit. It’s a relaxing place to stay, whether you’re with family or here for work.

The room was decent and clean, and the kitchen had all the things I needed, though the layout wasn’t great. The rest of my three-night studio stay was frustrating. Internet was extremely slow, and the reception staff had an unpleasant attitude. I was charged a few dollars for a dental kit, which I haven’t encountered at other good hotels. The queen bed was made by pushing two single mattresses together, and it left me with back pain. Used coffee cups, coffee, and sugar weren’t replaced until I complained. I travel to Canberra for work every month and have stayed at different hotels, but I’ve never been this dissatisfied. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I was disappointed when I called back to book and they said they couldn’t honor the price they’d quoted because an event was on in Canberra, so I had to pay more. When I first called, I’d had to ask before they offered the discounted member rate. I ended up staying somewhere else, where the rate was modest even during the event. It also had better reviews, mountain views, and a beautiful sunrise.

All the workers were kind and great during our stay, but Jawad and Komal especially stood out for my family and everyone around them. They were helpful and lovely, always smiling.
