A good-value place in the CBD, close to restaurants and activities. Reception staff were friendly, and our room was clean and spacious for two, with strong air conditioning. The restaurant connected to the hotel was only average. Portions were generous, but some dishes seemed to be boxed or frozen and then reheated.

We got two rooms, one for us and one for a friend, for a show at the QPAK theater. It was handy, about a 15-minute walk away, and good value for an overnight stay. The rooms were clean and had a mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, plus an iron and ironing board. The rooms are small, but the smart TVs are big. Be aware the turns into the car park underneath are very tight, so it really only suits small cars or motorcycles. I understand there’s other parking nearby.

The entrance initially looked a bit like a hostel, and getting into the car park felt daunting because of the tight turns. Once inside, though, the small room was clean, tidy, sufficient for a night and looked recently renovated. The bed was comfortable, the linens were good quality, and all the basics were there. Staff were friendly and helpful. I’d stay again.

The rooms are small but clean and comfortable, and close to everything in the CBD. I’d stay again. Breakfast was the big letdown. It costs an extra $30pp and is at a little cafe/restaurant next door. The food is great, but you get a set menu with breakfast purchased in advance, just one meal and a small drink. Buying that same meal and drink from the regular menu in the morning is actually much cheaper, saving almost $10.
