We lost more than $1,000 at a really difficult time. A few days after booking, our cousin went into a coma, so visiting my dying relative was no longer possible. We asked to postpone the stay so we could come for the memorial instead, but they refused outright and showed no care or compassion. I'm angry and heartbroken. They seemed to care only about the money. Do not stay here.

I gave this accommodation five stars a few months ago, but this visit was a completely different experience. Room 603 had mould in the bathroom and filthy carpet that definitely hadn't been vacuumed. Very disappointing.

The room looked nothing like the photos and was sparsely furnished. The bed was old, sagging and had springs sticking out. The lounge chair had the same problem. It's the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in, and I wouldn't stay again.

We had a lovely view of the Brisbane River, and the location was handy, just a two-minute walk to Toowong Shopping centre and the train station. The lounge sat too low, though, and wasn't good for someone with back problems.

We were on the 10th floor and could still hear terrible train and traffic noise all night. I had the worst sleep I've had in years. The apartment wasn't fully furnished, and the huge fridge wasn't switched on. We couldn't reach the power point behind it to turn it on. For a one-night stay that wasn't cheap, this was very disappointing.
