We spent one night here at the end of our Queensland holiday before flying out. The hotel met its advertised standards, with a good standard of accommodation and an excellent location. Staff went out of their way to let us charge our car overnight, which we really appreciated. After dinner at the wonderful Mobo restaurant right next door, we enjoyed a warm evening walk along the river. The Story Bridge Hotel nearby was in full swing on Saturday night, but we slept soundly in a comfortable bed with crisp sheets. The bathroom was great, with good water pressure and facilities, and the TV lets you cast from your mobile.

Chris and the rest of the staff were lovely and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and as someone who travels a lot for work, I'm pretty fussy. We had a great time using the bikes, which are free. There's also a great sports bar restaurant across the road. A hidden gem, and I'd stay here again if I come back to Brisbane. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant 🥰

The lap pool was a perfect temperature and refreshing after a hot afternoon walking around Brisbane. It's easy to get to the Story Bridge, Kangaroo Point Bridge and Holman Street Ferry terminal from here. Staff kindly let me leave my car in the garage after checkout so my friend and I could walk around before our flight later that afternoon. Unlike other Brisbane hotels, Il Mondo doesn't charge for parking, which was a huge plus. I also left a book behind by accident, and Chris offered to post it back to my Australian address. I rarely review hotel stays, but I had such a great time and felt the staff really cared about providing exceptional service. This is the only place I'll stay in Brisbane!

The welcome I got here was probably the best hotel arrival service I've ever had. The gentleman was so lovely, though I'm sorry I've forgotten his name. I booked a basic little room with stair-only access, and it was comfortable. The location was fantastic, and it was a short walk to the ferry to head over to Eat Street for the night. I had a very enjoyable stay and have since recommended it to others looking in the area.

Friendly, very helpful hosts and clean, comfortable rooms made for a great stay. I'd recommend getting a room with a balcony. The hotel's in a fantastic location, and it's become my new go-to in Kangaroo Point.
